Hi all, Here are the board minutes for the last Spikes Board meeting. The next meeting will be April 16 at Tony Moscoso's place at 7pm. Minutes from February 12
- Motion to approve board minutes by Jose; seconded Flacco

Castro Street Fair
- Jose has link for application
SF Pride
- Form filled out and filed, still need to send 501 (c)3 status
Indoor 3rd season
- 48 players signed up; 23 paid
- 2 games per night and skills training
Equipment Acquisition
- Joseph requested funds for equipment (~$300)

- pop-up goal
- Motion to approve expenditures (Tony); seconded by Jose; approved
Club/Team Dues
- low on collection; need to determine messaging to collect dues. Jose will send an email to club members
Outdoor Practice

budget item of $2700 to Mission High School
- starts second Tuesday in April
- Michael will add to Team Cowboy
- Team 1 on Tuesday; Team 2 & 3 on Thursday
Team 2 & 3 final selection
- March 16 final tryout
- season starts May 4
Fundraising
- Eagle: no Sundays available, but has Saturday and Wednesday nights (looking Easter)
- Reviewing Lookout, Hi Tops (Sundays), and other bars and schedules available
- Looking to schedule June 1, July 20, August 24, November 2, November 16, Miss Spikes
Gay Games
- 22 expressed yes; 12 are maybes
- will contact Bear, Tony, and Ed to see who will go
- early registration deadline $195 / $90 person
Spirit of Football
- event was successful; several Spikes in attendance
- first LGBT team to host Spirit of Football
Player retention / new players
- discussion of inequality of opportunity between beginning and experienced/advanced players
- differences in playing time cited in indoor league for some players, while others felt that certain captains provided equitable treatment to players
- fewer outdoor opportunities for novice players
- home tournaments: fewer novice players played in tournaments
- travel tournaments: fewer opportunities
- social events open to all players
- solutions offered by Joseph on how to build skills, etc.
- better retention with indoor
Atmosqueer
- April 12th, Saturday 12:30 pm- 5:30 pm.

Indoor tournament report
- 5th Annual Indoor Tourney
- 42 players (5 teams)
- 2014 payment of ($960?) paid for 2 refs and 2 courts- suitable for 60-80 players- players dissappointed that no shirts were given out
Folsom Tournament
- Dan will reserve very soon
Miss Spikes Universe
- perhaps schedule an afternoon show
- may need to look for another venue
- Jose will ask Bob about taking charge
